It couldn't get any easier to get to a windsurfing beach.
From the West: Take Southern State Parkway all the way to the end. The toll booths are the entrance to Heckscher State Park. Field 7 is the windsurfing area.
From NW (throgs Neck Bridge): Take Cross Island Parkway South to 495 East. (Long Island Expressway West). Continue East on the LIE to Exit 53 (Sagtakos Pkwy) and head South. Sagtakos will split at Southern State Parkway. Stay in the left lane to merge onto Southern State Pkwy East. Continue to toll booths at the entrance to Heckscher.
From the East: Take Sunrise highway to Souther State/Heckscher Parkway. Go south on Souther State/Heckscher Parkway to tollbooths.
